Overnight Flurries

In sympathy for my friends in the colder climes....

Not really.

I purchased a new mold with a set of six different guest-sized snowflakes and immediately remembered early December evenings returning from shopping at the mall in the light flurries that reflected snowflakes in the headlights of the car.

These little beauties were created with opalescent turquoise coloring for the flakes, and black oxide and peacock coloring (astute eyes will notice that the three bars in back have an additional tint created by adding blue pearl mica) for the background. A pinch of silver glitter added to the soap (as it cooled to the point just before it set) creates a nighttime starfield in each bar. The addition of "Rise and Shine" fragrance gives each bar a fresh, citrus smell and leaves you feeling clean and cool!
