Mama's Eyes

She came to us as a wild stray kitten who wouldn't abide by anyone's touch. When she dislocated her tail by jumping from too high, she would allow Carol to place a heating pad on her and sing to her as she slept off her injury. Once she was healed, it was obvious that she became "Mama's kitty" and it's only a short jump from that to "Mama Cat". Now, she knows her name only as "Mama", or sometimes "Get off my keyboard ya damn cat!"

It was a rare day that she allowed me to come into her personal space to take this photo, and I'm so glad she did. Full-view allows you to count each and every hair on her precious face.
