Channeling God

As the Buddha begins opening the heart and mind chakras to channel the energies of the universe, the Kirlian camera folds in upon itself and implodes with a barely audible --pop-- as the air rushes in to fill the space it once occupied. All that is left is this image, burned into the wallpaper in the hut behind the cushion where the Buddah sat. Of the Buddha, there is no sign, except for a slight depression in the center of the cushion...we stare for a while, pack up our gear, and leave the hut with a strange sense of satisfaction....
